Root Canal Treatments:
|
Endodontics is also known as Root Canal treatment. This is needed when the blood or nerve supply of the tooth
is infected through tooth decay or injury. This infection may spread through the root canal system of the
tooth leading to an abscess. If Root Canal treatment is not carried out the infection will spread and the
tooth may need to be removed.. A crown or any other restoration is then placed on the tooth to protect it
and restore it to full function. |
All root canal sterilizations are done with lasers eliminating any chance of bacterial
contamination, reducing treatment failures. |
|
At Johars Dental Care we have simplified the root canal treatment reducing the multiple sitting schedules to
a one to two-sitting Treatment. The traditional system of multiple sittings root canal treatments are a
thing of the past. |

Bridges :
In cases where implants are contraindicated, bridges (which are a number of units of crowns attached to one another) are used for the replacement of teeth.
Professional Clean Up
Professional clean up / oral prophylaxis / scaling and polishing is essential at least once in a year for all individuals in order to maintain the overall health of the oral cavity. It involves the removal of plaque, tartar and stains which accumulate over a period of time.
Child Dental Care
All pediatric dental procedures are carried out including curative and preventive dental procedures such as sealant treatment, topical fluoride application etc.
Ceramic Veneers /Ceramic Crowns
All defects including, stained teeth, chipped teeth, crooked teeth, excessively small teeth, excessively large teeth, surface defects on teeth, gaps between teeth, overall unaesthetic smile etc can not only be corrected but also the smile can be enhanced to glamorous proportions using veneers and metal free crowns. Even regular smiles can be enhanced by altering the shade and the smile line to bring it in harmony with the rest of the face.
Implants
Replacement of single or multiple teeth with implants is the recent advances in dentistry. It improves appearance and function to a larger extent.
Dental Implants provide a strong foundation for permanent or removable prosthesis (replacement teeth) that are made to match your natural teeth. They are manufactured from biologically neutral pure Titanium that is accepted by the human body and these implants fuse with the jawbone to form a secure foundation for tooth replacement.
Implants with Fixed Bridge
The course of treatment described here is one of several options available. Consult your dentist to find out what the best solution is for you, given your specific condition.
1. Before the procedure
Three teeth at the back end of the mouth are missing. The bridge contains all
teeth in one piece and is anchored on dental implants.
2. Installing the implants
First, the implants are installed. This is normally done in a single session. If
conventional implants are employed a healing abutment or cover screw is placed
and left for about 2 months to integrate with
the jawbone before the next step is
undertaken. If immediate loaded implants are employed a
temporary bridge may be placed making it possible for you to function normally almost immediately
after leaving the dental surgery.
3. Attaching the bridge
The final step is the making and placing of the bridge. The new tooth is permanently installed.
4. End result
The new bridge will handle all the pressure that your strong, natural back teeth were capable of. You
will have a stable and secure solution that allows you to eat virtually what you want.

Full Arch dentures with Implant support
The course of treatment described here is one of several options available. Consult your dentist to find out what the best solution is for you, given your specific condition.
1. Before the procedure
The dentist determines what needs to be done and prepares the patient for the treatment
procedure.
2. Installing the implants
The first step in installing dental implants is to replace the lost tooth roots. Four mini implants are placed for added over-denture retention. Temporary dentures may be then worn enabling you to eat
and function normally while waiting for the permanent over-denture to be installed. Mini implants
can be used with less surgical interventions and are more cost effective for you.
3. End result
The removable over-dentures are securely clipped on top of the implant giving enhanced strength
and stability compared to conventional dentures.
